The Autumn Colours Are Waiting for You at Mont-Sutton
Autumn is slowly starting to show its face, the weather is particularly splendid and Mont-SUTTON is renewing its annual Fall Festival event.
The festival concept is as simple as it is fun! Make the most of the mountain’s summer offering one last time before the cold weather sets in. Mountain biking, hiking, camping at the summit, the giant zipline and the zipline coaster, disc golf, chairlift rides… you’ll have plenty of activities to choose from and, as every year, the whole family is welcome to join in the 5 weekends of festivities, from September 19 to October 18.
One Mountain, a Thousand Ways to Have Fun
Thrill-seekers, this section is for you! Mont SUTTON’s two zip lines promise unforgettable adrenaline rushes. The giant zip line, with 1.4 km of pure descent and speeds topping 100 km/h, is officially the steepest in Canada! And if you want even more, the switchback zip line will have you spinning through the forest over 655 metres. A one-of-a-kind course in North America!
✨ Good to know! You can experience the giant zip line as a duo! The adventure begins with a chairlift ride up to 680 m elevation, where a stunning view of the surrounding mountains awaits.
For cyclists, whether budding or seasoned, the mountain biking trails are calling your name. Beginner? Perfect! The introductory lessons will give you everything you need to tackle the slopes safely. Already experienced? Local guides know all the secrets to the best trails to make the most of your ride.
✨ Good to know! The guide service adapts to your skill level, and you can also opt for private lessons if you want to work on specific elements of your technique.
Exclusive Activities
While the festival is your last chance this season to enjoy mountain activities like hiking, summit camping, and disc golf, it’s also the time to take part in a whole lineup of exclusive activities!
Weekends Full of Music and Flavour
Picture this: you wrap up your morning of activities, your legs start feeling that good kind of tired, and then… the music starts! Musical Saturdays and Jazz Sundays turn the base of the mountain into an open-air stage.
✨ Good to know! La Route des vins de Brome-Missisquoi will be setting up their wine bar so you can discover the treasures of our local vineyards. Wine and music… a perfect pairing!
The Mont Sutton Trail: A New Challenge Awaits
This year marks the second edition of the Mont Sutton Trail on October 4th. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just curious, the 1, 5, 10, or 21 km courses have something for every level. It’s a great way to discover the mountain from a whole new angle while taking on a personal challenge.
✨ Good to know! Registration is available online before October 3rd. This race is part of the Trail Québec series, perfect for trail-running enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike.
