The holiday season causes feverishness combined with unconditionnal love for christmas decorations. Why not kill two birds with one stone when you purchase your christmas tree by opting for a natural tree, supporting the local economy and improving your festive decor? Here’s a couple suggestions of businesses where you can get your favorite living room ornament !

🎄

Plantation des Frontières

Located in Saint-Armand, this plantation produces many varieties of trees, but the most popular one is obviously the christmas tree ! Starting november 22,  you can choose the cut tree you want. No need to reserve . On site, we have a big selection of already cut trees in which you can choose your beautiful christmas tree, we also have christmas wreath, packs of branches and bouquet to embellish your home. An uptade is made regularly on plantationdesfrontieres.com. Don’t miss stopping in their christmas store (open all year)! Gift ideas, ornaments, natural wreath and branches are waiting for you.

Plantation Bernier

This forestry business, based on the beautiful landscape of Lac-Brome, is open everyday, starting november 14. Cut your own tree or choose an already cut one. With sizes from 5 to 20 feet, options are not missing. It’s important to note that only cash and debit cards are accepted. To get more informations on your christmas tree purchase, contact Plantation Bernier at 450 534-2417.

On the way, you will come across the Domaine des Nobles Alpagas and the Léon Courville Vigneron. It’s the perfect occasion to stop and get yourself some local products.

Cidrerie Choinière

For two days only, the cider house will be offering U-pick Christmas trees in a plot planted in the orchard a few years ago. The price is a flat rate of $50 per tree, regardless of size. These untrimmed trees have a more rustic appearance than those found in a traditional tree farm. They also have the advantage of shedding very few needles! Bring your own rope for carrying. Two dates to remember: December 6th and 7th, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. To warm you up, sausages made from locally raised pork will be available. It will also be an opportunity to purchase various cuts of pork, fresh eggs, and cider for the holidays! All the details are on Instagram.

Plantation Robert E. Enos

In Saint-Ignace-de-Stanbridge, Plantation Robert E. Enos proposes to pick your own christmas tree from 3 to 45 feet, from november 29 to december 21.

Once on site, you are very close to  Boutique Atelier Trema in Bedford and the Vignobe de l’Orpailleur  in Duhnam. A detour is necessary to enjoy their great products!

Have a nice selection and happy decorating!🎄
