Alpine Skiing

Here in Brome-Missisquoi, we’re lucky to have two amazing mountains, each one proposing their own unique experience. For skiing inside glades recognized as being among the best in Canada, Mount Sutton is where you must promptly head. Do you prefer skiing on the trails of a vast skiable domain? With its 7 slope sides and 141 trails for all levels, Bromont, montagne d’expériences will give you plenty to choose from, even evenings!

Cross-country Skiing

More of a contemplative nature ? Does the idea of heading out on well-marked mountain trails located in a magnificent hundred-year-old forest sound really tempting? Great! Because this is exactly what you’ll find when you go to Plein air Sutton, an amazing playground for true cross-country skiing enthusiasts! Are you a beginner? They also provide a cross-country skiing equipment rental service.

Do you prefer exploring our mixed forests? The Parc d’environnement naturel de Sutton, the P.E.N.S., with its 48 trails, its four summits, its frozen lakes, its streams and its numerous hiking loops will please all levels of snowshoers! Don’t forget to reserve your access tickets online! In the Lake Gale sector network, you’ll have a great time discovering some 17 kilometres of ungroomed trails!

The popularity of these bicycles with their oversized tires (fatbikes for the initiated) is continually growing. A stop in Bromont, a pioneer town for winter cycling, is a must for all those looking for a thrill! The Parc des Sommets offers more than twenty trails that will allow you to enjoy some breathtaking winter scenery while strengthening your calf muscles!

Jigging for fish on the ice is a great way to introduce your kids to the fun of fishing in a very original way! In Philipsburg, Activités plein air offers fishing shack rentals along with everything you’ll need: 1 bag of wood, 2 dozen minnows, 10 tip ups (fishing lines) plus 10 holes. All you’ll need to bring is your food and beverages and a second pair of mittens!

A Delicious Cup of Hot Chocolate!

Added to a day spent outside, for us this is the ideal combination! And the timing is perfect, because the Musée du chocolat de la confiserie Bromont will have you savour one of the best concoctions offered in all of Québec! Chocolate morsels of the finest quality give their beverages a rich and exquisite taste that will please small and tall alike. Plus, while you’re here on Shefford Street, make sure you drop by some of the boutiques you’ll find in Bromont’s Vieux-Village!
