The Autumn Colours Are Waiting for You at Mont-Sutton

Autumn is slowly starting to show its face, the weather is particularly splendid and Mont-SUTTON is renewing its annual Fall Festival event.

The festival concept is as simple as it is fun! Make the most of the mountain’s summer offering one last time before the cold weather sets in. Mountain biking, hiking, camping at the summit, the giant zipline and the zipline coaster, disc golf, chairlift rides… you’ll have plenty of activities to choose from and, as every year, the whole family is welcome to join in the 5 weekends of festivities (From September 14 to October 14, 2024).

Musical Saturdays and Jazz Sundays at the Foot of the Mountain
After a morning enjoying the great outdoors, relax and take in a live musical performance. Discover a variety of styles on Saturdays and different jazz bands on Sundays! On the site, look for the Route des Vins’ tasting bar which will have you discover our local winemakers’ fine selections!

Workshops for the Entire Family
Along with their outdoor offer, every Saturday and Sunday, Mont-Sutton proposes guided hikes to discover the sculptures on the mountain. Also on the program, September 15 and September 22, as well as on October 6 and 13, enjoy yoga hikes with Maud Japhet of Espace Liance, a herbalism workshop with Catherine Lalonde of Officinalis on September 14 and September 28, and a photography workshop every Sunday offered by Martin Laporte of L’École d’art Sutton.

Two Ziplines for Twice the Adrenaline Rush!
The fearless and the adventurous can go all out on the mountain’s two ziplines. The adventure begins with a chairlift ride up to an altitude of 680 m, where you’ll find the starting platform and a splendid view of the surrounding mountains. The Giant Zipline carries you through two sections, the first is 1 km long and is the most inclined in all of Canada. Then, the second section covers 400 metres further down the mountain. You can also enjoy this unique experience with the person of your choice, as you take on the challenge as a duo. Prepare to have your hair messed up quite a bit, since you could reach speeds of up to 100 km/h on the way down!

You still want more thrills? Try the Zipline Coaster, the only one of its kind in North America. As its name suggests, this zipline will send you whirling through the forest in a series of bends and drops on loops of up to 450 degrees covering a distance of 655 m.

Initiating Yourself to Mountain Biking
Everything has been thought of for anyone interested in discovering this emblematic Mont-SUTTON sport. Both beginners and the totally new to the sport can sign up for the Mountain Bike Initiation course.
