Beaches to discover in Brome-Missisquoi

Even though every beach of our region is unique in their own way, our aquatic oases deserve our attention, whether you prefer family outings, sports getaways or sun worshipping. Here are a few beaches to consider for your next vacation in the Eastern Townships.

Douglass Beach

A few minutes from of the heart of the village of Knowlton, Douglass Beach offers all the essential elements for a good time alone, with your family or among friends. Here you’ll find a magnificent and safe environment, picnic areas, a beach volleyball court and a launch for small water crafts (paddleboards, kayaks, canoes). Douglass Beach is accessible via a 2.2-kilometre walking trail which starts out in the heart of the village and, as you arrive at the beach, opens up to all the splendours of Lake Brome.

The Nature Centre in Cowansville

Located on the shores of Davignon Lake, this beach delights young and older alike with its game modules, its water games, its kayak, canoe and pedal boat rentals, its bike paths and walking trails, its skatepark and its many sports and leisure activities. A day filled to the brim awaits you!
