Knowlton Film Festival

Experience cinema differently in the enchanting setting of Lac-Brome! Since 2018, this late summer festival fosters warm encounters between audiences and filmmakers through outdoor screenings, discussions with creators, and screenings under the stars.

Fiction, drama, comedy, documentaries, and children’s films—the festival presents short and feature films created by artists from Quebec, Canada, and beyond.

Official Competition – Claire Léger Prize worth $3,500 for short films, with professional juries at the Lac-Brome Theatre.

Diverse Programming – Quebec, Canadian, and international films in premiere, with a spotlight on a regional filmmaker.

Unique Experience – Roving screenings in cafés, galleries, parks, and beaches throughout the region. Special events and musical evenings all summer long.
