Three coffee roasters you should discover this fall

There’s nothing more comforting than a great cup of coffee freshly prepared by your favourite roasters! Discover or rediscover these three Eastern Townships businesses that have found the recipe for success and for the best tasting coffees!

Le Cafetier

In Sutton, Le Cafetier is a MUST for the locals as much as for visitors to the area.  A major hub in the heart of the town, its decor is warm and inspires joy.  A micro-roaster, café, bistro and restaurant, the owners have more than one trick up their sleeve! Their products, whole bean coffees, are certified Fair Trade and guaranteed to be fresh, since they’re roasted on site. You’ll enjoy a fine range of items from espressos, to lattes, and mochas to their famous hot chocolate. As take-outs or to savour right here, Le Cafetier will totally charm you!

Established in Lake Brome, Virgin Hill Artisanal Coffee Roasters showcase rich and mellow coffee, whether you prefer ground or whole beans.  This community-oriented enterprise offers a wide variety of flavours by providing internationally produced coffee beans to restaurant operators, retailers, and simple coffee lovers as well. Virgin Hill beverages will have you travel to such places as Colombia, Kenya, Nicaragua and even Peru! For an even more personalized and unique experience,  you can also create your own blends by selecting beans adapted to your taste.

Julius Coffee

Julius Coffee, in Bromont, is a very unique roasting laboratory founded by passionate travellers and coffee flavour amateurs.  The company’s mission: to have people discover specialty coffees. To do so, the different items you’ll find on their menu are sourced with care. Their team will meet with different coffee growers directly on their plantations to collect coffee beans of incomparable quality.  By applying their high standards and unique characteristics relating specifically to coffee, they then select “micro batches” of beans, giving their specialty coffees their great renown.
