THE BEST ACTIVITIES FOR A FUN TIME DURING THE MARCH BREAK

For the March break, take advantage of all the attractions offered in the Brome-Missisquoi region. Surprise yourself with its diversified agritourism and its mountains to experience unforgettable moments as a family.

This is the perfect time to enjoy a mug of hot cocoa or a Viennese pastry on your way, after an outdoor activity. To maximize your stay, here’s a guide containing the best activities to have fun as a family during this school break.

 

Skiing for the whole family

Take advantage of the March Break to discover the slopes of Bromont and Sutton.

The mountain of Bromont proposes a March Break Camp to improve beginners’ skills, group and private classes and many other activities. Don’t miss the scheduled Nuits Blanches and also their Jeudis Shows, every Thursday, starting at 8:00 p.m.

Mount Sutton invites you to discover its Family Zone with an adapted learning park and a “marvelous wood” perfect for beginners to discover the joy of the glades. A special March Break program is offered  and includes an ambassador guided family tour, ski camp, yooners to rent, treasure hunts on the slopes, and much more.

 

Visit an Alpaca Farm

Surround yourself with sweet warmth as you visit the four alpaca farms of the region. Alpaga Sutton, Domaine des nobles alpagas, in Brome Lake, the alpacas of Ferme Norli, in Bromont and WOW Freli Alpagas, in Frelighsburg will all teach you a lot about raising this camelid as you admire their magnificent surroundings.

 

The Brome County Children’s Museum

The Children’s Museum invites you to revisit the past and the lifestyle of families in the 19th century. The museum proposes interactive activities and fun learning experiences to rediscover the everyday life of these olden days. The Children’s Museum is open on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

Centre d’escalade BackBone

To experience an incomparable climbing moment, head out to Centre d’escalade Backbone, in Bromont. The centre offers bouldering for sports adepts of all ages! All you need to do is rent a pair of climbing shoes to take advantage of their climbing proposition on your own. No reservations are necessary.

 

Plein air Sutton

People go to Plein air Sutton to explore their magnificent 150-acre forest and hundred-year-old trees, their 15 km of cross-country ski trails and their 12 km of hiking trails. Since 2020, access to trails is free for 12 years old and under.
