COWANSVILLE, MY LOVE

The Town of Cowansville has so much to offer people looking for a romantic escape.

Your first stop: the artisanal bakery and pastry shop, La Mie Bretonne will certainly awaken your senses as soon as you bite into one of their treats! La Mie Bretonne is the perfect gourmet destination to share pastries, breads, cheeses and charcuteries with your better half while exploring our Brome-Missisquoi roads or for an autumn picnic at the Centre de la nature de Cowansville.

Second stop: the Bruck Museum and its collective exhibition TISSU & FIBRE which, until December 18, 2021, celebrates the diversity and originality of the works presented by about thirty artists. On the program, paintings, sculptures, photographs, textile art and other artistic practices.

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT, IN BROMONT

Whether you’re passionate about sports, shopping, culture or gourmet discoveries, Bromont offers a wide range of activities and addresses for a romantic autumn experience overflowing with colours and flavours!

BALNEA spa + réserve thermale has quickly become a favourite destination of mine since the first time I came here, on a November afternoon, several years ago. I’ll never forget that moment when, wearing a bathing suit and a wool hat, and relaxing in one of the hot tubs, I was awed by the beauty of Lake Gale and the amazing environment here. For an incredible experience with your lover, I strongly suggest you end your day by enjoying the seasonal cuisine of the restaurant LUMAMI located on the spa grounds; Then head to the BEATNIK Hotel for a peaceful and comforting night’s sleep.

If you’re looking for a gourmet address with an impressive selection of natural wines, for your intimate getaway,  the restaurant La Selva Pizzeria is the perfect choice! Located only a few minutes from Bromont’s Vieux-Village, this restaurant proposes a relaxed ambiance where you can enjoy the present moment! Pair your red, white or orange wine selection with one of their succulent pizzas baked in a wood-burning oven or a decadent pasta dish. Buon appetito!

LOVE SHINES, IN SUTTON

With its mountain and charming village centre attracting thousands of people every year in search of serenity and great outdoors activities, Sutton is one of the most beautiful places to spend a magical moment with your loved one. In order to enhance your outing in the heart of the town of Sutton (and to warm up a bit!), I invite you to meet Nahoko Nahada and Chris Shinn, the co-founders of Yamabiko Coffee Roasters. Whether you’re more of a cortado, latte or decaffeinated coffee type, you’ll certainly find your guilty pleasure here. The café is presently located at the Round Top Bagels shop, but they will soon be moving to the microbrewery À L’Abordage. About microbreweries, the latter has recently received a makeover to better serve their customers. The restaurant, excels in comfort food, and can now welcome up to 100 guests (pandemic allowing). A few steps away, there’s the Taproom & Buvette, where you can purchase the microbrewery’s products in cans or growlers (one-liter jugs).
