Along with your friends or your family, come spend some truly special time as you take part in a very important phase in the winemaking process: Grape Harvesting Season. Together, you can experience quite a unique day filled with fun and ending around a delicious meal accompanied with great wine!

Go make the grapes fall from the vines as a field manager accompanies you and get a glimpse of what the life of a winemaker feels like! After a hard day of harvesting, you can enjoy tasting 10 wines and several local terroir products. Cost: $39.

Are you a woman and would like to jump feet first into the authenticity of a winemaking experience? This is your chance! You are more than welcome to stomp the grapes in a traditional wooden vat and afterwards, savour all the Rosé you want! Cost $20

 

Léon Courville, Vigneron

With more than a hundred-year-old Maple trees bordering the vineyard and its vines planted on a hillside overlooking magnificent Brome Lake, the Léon Courville, Vigneron vineyard offers a grape harvesting day for the public. Sunday, October 8! circle this date on your calendar! The event “Become a winemaker for a day” is back again this year. As you accompany the winemaker, participate in the harvest, the fruit crushing and pressing operations. This vineyard’s reputation and the activities it offers during the harvest season are well established: Celebration is in the air here! In autumn, the entire domain comes joyfully alive to offer you an opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of grape harvesting. Savour a delicious meal and a glass of wine, attend a musical performance, participate in a drawing and enjoy a campfire in the evening! Now here’s a day you won’t want to miss. To take part in this event, you can reserve your place for September 16, 23 or 30. The activities start at 10 a.m. Cost $15

 

UNION LIBRE, Vineyard and Cidery

Be on the lookout, UNION LIBRE, vineyard and cidery, invites the public to come and pick grapes, eat a delicious meal and leave with a bottle during their harvesting season. Since the date is not fixed ahead of time, we suggest you visit their Facebook page regularly in order to reserve your place.

 

Don’t hesitate to stop at one of the 22 vineyards you’ll find on the Route des Vins during the harvesting season. Whether it’s for a guided tour, a picnic or to discover excellent new products, you will, for sure, be very satisfied with the day you will have experienced here (and without a doubt, you’ll surely take home a few bottles).
