5 great Brome-Missisquoi Landscapes in 5 episodes

From its western plains to its eastern summits, the Brome-Missisquoi region offers a great variety of landscapes. To rediscover the area’s unique panoramas, we invite you to explore the web series “Paysages en série”, a project which showcases Brome-Missisquoi landscapes through the words of different resident hosts.

Starting in the summer of 2019, until the winter of 2020, artist Stéphane Lemardelé, well known for his graphic novel “Le nouveau monde paysan au Québec,” travelled extensively throughout Brome-Missisquoi with his friend and cameraman Martin Morissette. Together they strived to capture the region’s landscapes and interview those who choose to live here.

After many months of work, with the help of graphic artist Marc Serre, they produced this magnificent web series, enhanced with animated illustrations and several moving testimonies. Furthermore, a few much renowned residents of our region, such as author Louise Penny and artist Raoul Duguay, make an appearance as well.

The first two episodes are now available online. The others will be coming out over the next upcoming weeks.
