Family vacations sometimes require a lot of preparation. Also, pleasing everyone isn’t a simple matter. Here, we’re suggesting a ready-to-go outing that will surely please the entire family. All you’ll need to do is reserve your lodging.

Day 1

For your first day, cool off at the water park at Bromont, montagne d’expériences. With 15 waterslides, including 3 thrill rides, 2 pools, areas for little ones, and mountain activities, you won’t have a moment to be bored!

For dinner, head to Old Bromont and grab a seat on one of the many terraces lining Shefford Street. And why not make a little stop afterward at the Bromont Chocolate Museum to sample chocolates made right on site? We bet the kids will love it!

Day 2

As soon as breakfast is done, head to Call’s Mills Park in Lac-Brome. With barely a kilometer of trails winding through the forest near the Yamaska River, this little hidden gem is perfect for gently easing into the day.

Got your bikes? The Three Lakes Circuit, linking Lakes Brome, Waterloo, and Boivin, was designed with active families in mind and can be ridden in full (76 km) or in part. Whether off-road or on a bike path, everyone will feel safe here. For a shorter outing, the Zérotrafic circuit (56 km) connects Lac-Brome to Bromont, and true to its name, you won’t cross paths with a single car. Still working on introducing the little ones to biking? The Lac-Brome trail is just the thing. It can be picked up from several spots around Lac-Brome, and since it’s also entirely off-road, you can bike with total peace of mind!

Your stop in Lac-Brome wouldn’t be complete without some time at Douglass Beach, where sunsets over Lac-Brome are always poetic. Plenty of picnic tables let you eat there, whether it’s your own picnic, one prepared by a nearby vendor, or a snack from the beach canteen. The beach is supervised daily until the end of August, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Day 3

Head south to the Au Diable Vert mountain resort, in the stunning mountainous region of Sutton, where adventure awaits the whole family. Mountain hiking, tubing down the Missisquoi River (a must!), the VéloVolant experience (for kids 10 and up)… Keep the fun going into the evening with ObservÉtoile, the very first open-air planetarium in the world. A magical experience under the starry sky! Stay overnight on site — camping, in a refuge, or in a treetop cabin. If you’d rather sleep close to the village while still being surrounded by nature, Huttopia Sutton offers ready-to-camp tents, perfect for families.

Day 4

The Cowansville Nature Centre awaits you for your last day. Between a refreshing swim at the beach, boat rentals to explore Lac Davignon, a round of frisbee golf, biking on the pumptrack, a session at the skatepark, or a game of beach volleyball, there’s no chance of getting bored!

Before heading home, parents can treat themselves to a visit to Le P’tit Bonheur vineyard. But don’t worry — the kids won’t be left out, since it’s possible to book a walk with… alpacas! Walk alongside them, watch them, pet them. A lovely way to wrap up the trip, with a smile on everyone’s face!
