Situated in the heart of the Sutton mountain range, the Parc d’environnement naturel de Sutton offers more than 52 km of hiking trails connected to the greater trail networks of the Sentiers de l’Estrie and the Réserve naturelle des Montagnes Vertes.
Summer and winter alike, with or without snowshoes or ice cleats, come discover the exceptional beauty the park has to offer. With four peaks, two lakes, two ponds, and a number of mountain streams, there are breathtaking views aplenty.
During the summer, campsites, lean-tos, and a chalet with panoramic view are available to visitors. Situated in the very middle of our trail network atop the Mt Sutton ski trails, these accommodations offer a rustic camping experience- available with or without a tent and kitchen facilities, depending on your preferences.
We also regularly offer a variety of enriching activities from our famous full-moon hikes and nature workshops on the flora and fauna of the mountain. As of 2013 we have also introduced an ecological- and historical-themed geocaching-style game that allows hikers to learn more about the mountain at their leisure.
With the exception of the areas of the park contained within the Réserve naturelle des Montagnes Vertes, Round Top included, dogs are tolerated on our trails on the condition they are kept on a leash.
Located at 900 Réal Road in Sutton, our welcome booth is open every day of the year to assist you should you need any information from which trails to take for the best views to how to become a member.
