Although there are plenty of store-bought recipes available, the taste of homemade eggnog is truly much better. This is why we decided to offer you this eggnog recipe developed by the team at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/rumeursutton\/\">La rumeur affam\u00e9e de Sutton<\/a>,\u00a0showcasing our local ingredients (among which we have delicious milk from the Fromagerie Missiska). Thank you\u00a0\u00c9lo\u00efse C\u00f4t\u00e9 who took the headline picture for this article.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>1\/3 cup maple syrup (\u00c9rabli\u00e8re de Winter,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tourismebrome-missisquoi.ca\/en\/attractions\/sutton\/\">Sutton<\/a>)<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp corn starch<br \/>\n1 egg<br \/>\n3 egg yolks<br \/>\n1 litre of Missiska\u2019s 5% milk (<a href=\"https:\/\/tourismebrome-missisquoi.ca\/en\/attractions\/fromagerie-missiska\/\">Fromagerie Missiska<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tourismebrome-missisquoi.ca\/en\/attractions\/bedford\/\">Bedford<\/a>)<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp melilot extract (Gourmet Sauvage, St-Faustin-Lac-Carr\u00e9)<br \/>\n1 cinnamon stick<br \/>\nA pinch of cloves<br \/>\nA pinch of nutmeg<\/p>\n<p>We whisk everything together and bring the mixture to a boil on a low heat, while scraping the saucepan with your whisk to avoid any sticking.
