Combining farmlands, mountains and a heritage architecture, you\u2019ll discover some of Quebec\u2019s most beautiful landscapes right here in the Eastern Townships. Furthermore, you\u2019ll enjoy these amazing open spaces even more as you pedal your way in and around them. The Brome-Missisquoi region offers a great number of CYCLING ROUTES<\/a>\u00a0for all tastes and levels. Here are 5 circuits that we consider to be a must and which offer some especially magnificent environments.<\/p>\n

LA FL\u00c9CHETTE DE FARNHAM (48\u00a0KM)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Beginner level<\/p>\n

This 48\u00a0km circuit is perfect for cyclists looking for an even terrain, on an easy and quiet route. The vast farmlands offer delightful landscapes and allow cyclists to admire the emblematic Mount Pinacle on the horizon. The route starts out at the March\u00e9 de la station gourmande, in Farnham, where every Saturday they also hold their Farmers\u2019 Market.<\/p>\n

LE CIRCUIT DU PATRIMOINE (42\u00a0KM)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Beginner level<\/p>\n

This beginner-level circuit will have you discover the best of our American heritage. It runs through the towns of Saint-Armand, Stanbridge-East, Bedford and the hamlets of Pigeon Hill and Mystic.\u00a0Cyclists take advantage of this outing to visit the old Cornell Mill, which houses the Missisquoi Museum. Also, on your way, you\u2019ll discover the Alexander-Solomon-Walbridge barn, the oldest polygonal and only twelve-sided barn in all of Quebec (dodecagonal).<\/p>\n

LA LANTERNE ROUGE (51\u00a0KM)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Intermediate level<\/p>\n

A 51-kilometre route offering pure delight as it showcases the Lake Brome region, awaits all cyclists. We suggest you take the Lanterne Rouge route early in the morning to be able to fully enjoy the abundant views overlooking the calm and mist-covered lake; it\u2019s truly an idyllic ballad. You can enhance your outing by stopping at L\u00e9on Courville, Vigneron\u2019s vineyard where you\u2019ll discover their fine wine as you admire the view overlooking lake Brome and Mounts Orford, Glen, Echo, Owl\u2019s Head and Sutton.<\/p>\n

THE 100 \u00c0 B7 (64\u00a0 KM)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Advanced level<\/p>\n

Inspired by ex-Olympian Lyne Bessette\u2019s training circuit, this 64\u00a0km gravel route will reveal to you some very unique points of view. You\u2019ll love this hilly course for the landscapes, the constant rhythm changes and the terrain challenges. When you\u2019re done, take advantage of your time here to relax on one of Bromont\u2019s many caf\u00e9 and restaurant terraces.<\/p>\n

THE TOUR DES MONTS SUTTON (76\u00a0KM)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

This 76\u00a0km circuit is a classic for experienced cyclists looking for new challenges. In fact, the last part of the route is set on the Scenic Road, a 10\u00a0km stretch, peaking at an elevation of 362 metres. Your efforts will amply be rewarded with all the bucolic points of view you\u2019ll discover. Ready for an even bigger challenge? We also suggest the maxi-tour of the Sutton Mountain range, which covers 101\u00a0km!<\/p>\n
